Monique partners with award-winning chef Zoe Peckich and CMU musicians to present one of her most popular family concerts, that turns musical ingredients into a 7-layer Rondo Cake to the music of Mozart. Presented by Azure Family Concerts, this is an “all-behaviors-welcome” concert. Admission free.

Monique performs Bach’s C Minor Sonata for Violin and Piano with Sung-Im Kim on this program of Carnegie Mellon University’s Chamber Series. Also on the program are Bach’s Goldberg Variations for string trio.

Sit or lie comfortably, as she guides you to stillness with singing bowls, chimes, and other sound vibrations that permeate the acoustics and stained-glass splendor of Heinz Chapel, offering a space for healing and transformation. At the end of this 80-minute sound journey, you’ll be brought back to the present moment with Bach’s Chaconne that mirrors the sacred geometry of the chapel’s architecture.

A favorite on our series, Grammy Award artist, Eric DeFade returns for an evening of jazz standards and ballads with some Latin tunes in the mix. He’ll be joined by Tino Cardenes, piano; TBD, bass; and TBD drums.
