Everything is Music

This course is not about “understanding” or “appreciating” music. It is about connecting with music so deeply that you begin to experience the ecstasy of what Sufi poet, Rumi describes as “falling into a place where everything is music.” Exploring a wide repertoire from medieval to contemporary, I will offer listening prompts to direct your attention to aspects of the music and most importantly, observing what the music brings up within you. It’s an ecstatic journey of self-discovery, connection, and personal growth.
